Shygirl x Burberry Olympia
For this commercial, I worked with the team to develop transitions to tell the story of entering and exiting the bag. I expanded the set for both the introduction and end shots, stitching together different moments.
Nike x Skepta – SkAir
I had the pleasure of working with Daniel Sannwald and Somesuch from pre-production through to the end of this commercial for Nike. I supervised and collected data on set for the talented CG artist, Simon Kounovsky, and provided compositing and clean up work to support the final look. I also handled the online edit. Who knew caterpillars could be so beautiful in the dark!
Sky Italia: Sky Wifi (2020)
As a compositor for this commercial, I worked to integrate Jude Law (shot on grey screen) into the location plates. I also worked on some of the tunnel shots, extending the set.
Celebrity Cruises: Wonder Awaits (2019)
As a 2d artist on this project, I contributed a variety of work. I made some mock-ups for stylistic decisions, I executed clean-up tasks, and did my fair share of compositing. I particularly enjoyed compositing the shrinking Alice.
McDonald's UK : Breakfast (2019)
As a prep artist on this commercial, I provided roto work for many of its shots. I got a particular kick out of working on the one at Marlybone Station, because I used to commute from that exact platform every day as I went to NFTS… to study how to rotoscope!
Ford Escape (2019)
As a 2d artist on these commercials I provided a variety of work, from roto and cleanup, to compositing. We made a city shrink and showed the Escape was up for any challenge!
Sindy MSM (2019)
As a junior compositor, for this commercial my primary responsibilites were compositing of multiple animation layers, clean up, flicker removal, and DMP integration.
Sheba: Resistance is Futile
Working closely with director Nick Cinelli and animator Nelly Michenaud, I integrated the 2d characters into the miniature set. As the sole compositor on this project, having the discussion about exactly how much interaction there should be with this style was very enjoyable.
“Why Come to Odeon” Advert (2017)
During my time at the NFTS, a group of students from across disciplines got together to enter this commercial into a contest being held by Odean Cinemas. As one of the VFX artists involved, my main task was making custom textures for the robot character which were in line with Odeon branding guideilnes. I also enjoyed playing around with glass look development to make our robot friend’s eyes appear magnified.
